What would your life be like if you had the courage to do something different?
Have you ever had the opportunity to attempt something new, but at the last minute decided not to? You had a desire to do it, you seriously thought about doing it, until you started to doubt yourself, then you questioned if it was really such a good idea, you continued to look for excuses not to do it, and eventually deciding against doing it completely. Sadly you let go of what you wanted to do because you could not find the courage to act on what you desired. You were too afraid of what might happen if you did not succeed, or what people might think if you failed. You just could not find the courage to proceed.
You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You must do the thing which you think you cannot do.
- Eleanor Roosevelt-
Many people spend a lifetime without ever finding the courage to live the life they desire for themselves. When they are older they have many regrets about all the opportunities they have missed in life. If only they had the courage…
Instead of setting your own goals and making plans to achieve them, you rather settle for less and play it safe. You are not willing to take unnecessary risks and draw attention to yourself. It is just much easier and safer to keep working at a stable job, which is unfulfilling, or to stay in an unsatisfying relationship, even if it makes you unhappy. You are just too afraid of what might happen if you did something different.
You do not have to settle for a life that does not give you fulfillment and happiness. There are many people just like you who have changed their unsatisfying lives into something more rewarding just by finding the courage in themselves to do something different. You don’t have to get caught up in your own “comfort zone” and be suffocated by your chosen daily routine. You can develop the courage to do something new and different.
Recommended: “My Story: A Child called It” is the first book in an inspiring trilogy about Dave Petzer´s life as a child beaten and starved by his emotionally unstable, alcoholic mother and how he finds the courage to break the chains of the past and learn how to love, trust and live for the future. It will touch your heart …

Inspirational is one way to sum up this post! So many people are willing to accept a life they do not want. If people take small steps they will be amazed at what they can accomplish for themselves in their lives!
